Jay was honored to receive the 2007 California Home & Design Award for Best Residential Interior under 3,000 sq ft. Jay was selected for his design of the Forbes residence in Los Angeles, which also appears on the cover of the January 2007 issue.

InStyle Home will feature the Forbes residence in the Fall issue. Jay designed the Los Angeles home for skateboarder Reese Forbes and his wife Shawn. The modern home is a take on vintage Palm Springs chic and features bold graphics, sorbet colors and relaxed vintage furnishings.

Jay and clients Reese and Shawn Forbes recently scouted Paris for chic pieces for their new Los Angeles home. Reese is one of the world's top professional skateboarders and has designed signature clothing and footwear lines for Nike and Quiksilver.

On November 2nd, Jay appeared on House & Garden's panel, "Personalizing Great Design" at the Pacific Design Center. The panel addressed how to make great design reflect one's personal style. Jay shared the stage with Steve McKenzie, CEO of Larson-Juhl; Sylvestre Bono, CEO of Houles and Susanna Salk, Special Projects Editor of House & Garden.

7x7 Magazine will feature the recently completed home of Angelina Umansky, a long time client of Jay's and owner of Spa Radiance. "This is the 3rd home Angelina and I have worked on together. I'm really excited because this is a complete departure for both of us! I call it 'Hollywood Glam' with sexy colors and wonderful 20th century antiques found on a buying trip to Los Angeles with Angelina. I love a client who loves to shop!"
